About us

Battle Barn Farm Equestrian is a five star livery yard set in 63 acres of the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Sedlescombe, East Sussex.

Our aim is to provide a service of consistent excellence for the horses in our care. The horses' welfare is always paramount, therefore we endeavour to create an environment in which they can thrive.

The care that we provide ensures horse owners can benefit from peace of mind knowing that a clean, well maintained, attractive facility is available for them to enjoy their equestrian pastime.

A friendly yard, Battle Barn Farm Equestrian welcomes all levels of livery, from happy hackers, to top competition riders.

Short term, rehabilitation and re-schooling livery is also available.

Tariffs

Full livery Includes:

  • Loose box / stable fully matted for comfort
  • Once a day mucking out of stables
  • Shavings as deemed necessary by us up to one per week (additional shavings requested by the livery will be charged as an extra)
  • Feeding the horses twice a day to include nuts, beet, chaff and mix (other feeds and supplements can be supplied at cost)
  • Hay and or haylage as your horse requires
  • Use of buckets and yard tools
  • Use of lockable communal tack room and rug storage (maximum 3 rugs per horse)
  • Parking space for small lorry or trailer (at an additional cost)
  • Summer and winter daily turnout (except in extreme weather conditions)
  • Rug changes
  • Daily poo picking of fields
  • Membership of a national worming programme (testing and any treatments will be charged at cost)
  • The use of all the on site facilities by the horse owner
